After successfully completing a full year with 52 Frames in 2020, I had to let it go in 2021.  I kept holding on trying to complete my second consecutive year, even though it had become more of a chore than a joy.  Life kept dealing blows that made it harder and harder to complete and I found myself scrambling in the 9th hour to get it submitted in time every week.  I finally had to come to terms with the fact that I had started the project as a way to inspire me creatively and accountability to pick up my camera and practice my craft, but it was no longer fulfilling that purpose.  I let it go in hopes that the break would allow me to rest and I could come back to it another time.

With 2021 and all it’s hard coming to a close, I decided it was time to pick up my camera and give it another go.   I’m feeling stagnant again creatively, but I’m also feeling that bubbling need to create,  well up in me again.  So with the new year it’s time to make room for this awesome project and community of photographers that I have found in 52 Frames.  If you love photography and want to join me I can’t recommend this community enough.  They are some of the most encouraging photographers committed to growth and helping others grow that I have ever been a part of.  If you do decide to pick up the challenge with me, drop me a note in the comments, and welcome aboard!
